Vivek Oberoi is preparing well for his role in Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming film, Rakta Charitra, which will have Vivek playing Paritala Ravi. The role requires him to grow his hair and beard. He plans to step out of the house only when his beard is all grown to see if people recognize him. Vivek is so serious about his role that he is planning to meet Naxalites in Chattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. Judging by Ramu and Vivek’s past record, let’s see how well that movie turns out!

Vivek Oberoi’s b’day charity

Vivek Oberoi is back after a good European holiday and has planned on how he will be celebrating his 33 birthday this year. The actor doesn’t want any show-sha, and thus he has decided to celebrate this occasion with the children of orphanage.

“Yes that’s true, Vivek has planned to celebrate his birthday with Food for Life orphanage in a very simple way,” adds the source.

Vivek has been keeping a low profile since long. “The last phase of the actor’s life was the most difficult for him. But now he has been getting back to life and gathering the bits and pieces of it. Vivek is a party person, but this time he doesn’t want to make his b’day a grand celebration.”

“He is now bored of the parties and the limelight, and thus is staying away for few months. Though he is planning to make a big comeback and is very eagerly waiting to get back to work,” concludes the source.

Vivek Oberoi to join Stunt Mania

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is all set to show his stunts at Pulsar MTV Stunt Mania, a reality show on motorbike stunts, this Sunday.

Vivek will perform survival stunts like riding a bike on top of a moving train in the opposite direction.

“I am a huge fan of bikes and feel privileged to be a part of this show. It was a thrilling and fascinating experience riding a bike atop the train! Just as the movie ‘Prince-It’s Showtime’, Stunt Mania is packed with great thrills, great action and great fun. I am sure viewers will enjoy watching the show,” said Vivek.

Unexpected guest- Vivek drops in on Hrithik

Last Thursday, Vivek Oberoi dropped in to meet old friend Hrithik Roshan on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish at Mehboob Studios. The two had a great time chatting and catching up. But what seemed too coincidental was Aishwarya Rai’s absence. Vivek was at Mehboob Studios for a photo shoot for Kurbaan with Kareena and Saif. While leaving, he learnt that even Hrithik was shooting at the same studio. He was a bit apprehensive to meet him at first because he didn’t want to bump into Hrithik’s co-star for Guzaarish, Aishwarya, whom he earlier dated. But on learning that she wasn’t there, he went to meet Hrithik. The two friends who haven’t been able to meet for a long time due to professional commitments chatted about their films, their personal lives for two hours. They were also joined by Bhansali.

According to sources, Vivek and Hrithik have grown up together, as they are both from Juhu. So, Vivek didn’t want to miss the chance of meeting Hrithik.
