No time for rumours: Lakshmi Rai

Lakshmi Rai, the busy bee actress in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu, has been dragged into many controversies. Starting from the news item about her tryst with Indian Cricket Captain Dhoni to that of being the only actress to have full stocked liquor bar in her house, there is no rest for rumor machine when it comes to Lakshmi Rai.

But the lady is simply unperturbed and continues to accept and act in many regional films silently. She is acting as the lead pair for the top stars of Mollywood, Mohan Lal and Mammootty. In Telugu, she is the heroine in Krishnavamsi's film opposite Ravi Teja. In Tamil she is acting in two films, Naan Avan Illai (part 2) and Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam.

The busy girl is not worried about rumors. She is supposedly afraid that if other heroines should know about it they may try and wrest the chance for themselves.

As far as the rumors are concerned, sources reveal that she considers them as free publicity which will make people to think of her continuously.
