Jennifer Winget could be termed as the dream girl of many young guys. The vivacious actress is looking stunning and beautiful with her character of Dr. Riddhima in Dill Mill Gaye. We called the actor to know her secret of this freshness and fitness in her life.
“There is nothing much to say, but all I can tell is that I try to be different in all the shows that I act in. It’s challenging for me to bring something new every time,” says Jennifer.
The actress is looking much slimmer as compared to her past shows. Has she toned down for her role in DMG? “Well it was not exactly for the role, but I like to discover my new side in each show that I take up,” she adds.
When asked about her fitness and freshness secret, she reveals, “To be frank enough, there is no secret about the same, nor am I on a diet and starving to look thinner. It’s just that now, I have started giving more attention to my mind, body and soul.”
“There is no diet food for me, as I know I eat like a pig. I just love sweets, junk food and I do pounce on that regularly, but at the same time I do my exercise regularly and have ghar ka khanna made by my mom. With that I drink lots of vegetable juice which helps me to be fresh throughout the day,” she chirps.
She loves to eat the food cooked by her mom. It’s a big no-no for her having the on-set food. “I get my dabba from home and love to have fish and chicken curry made by my mom. With proper eating habits I also see to it that my body gets proper rest, one needs to take a good sleep and I always follow that,” she concludes.
So viewers get set and go if you want to look as beautiful as Dr. Riddhima.

Bollywood style “Hangover”!

“The Hangover” (Todd Phillips), comedy about a bachelor party in Las Vegas gone wrong, is going to Bollywood for a remake.
Zee nominated Annes Bazmee (No Entry) will direct and Firoz Nadiadwala (Awara Paagal Deewana) will produce the Bollywood version which is expected to go on the floor early next year.
Filmfare winner Abhishek Bachchan (Bunty aur Babli), Katrina Kaif (Singh is Kinng), Filmfare winner Sanjay Dutt (Lage Raho Munna Bhai), Filmfare winner Paresh Rawal (Hera Pheri), and Screen winner Ritesh Deshmukh (Masti) are expected to star in the remake. This is said to be the first “legitimate” Hollywood remake for Bazmee, though he is alleged to have lifted materials from Hollywood films in the past.
Critics are wondering how the Bollywood will catch the essence and comedy of a Hollywood hit and how to effectively translate some of its dialogues in Hindi. But some say that it has a Bollywood feel.

RGV’s encouraging words are enough!

Bollywood has witnessed the success of many duo music-composers. Joining the bandwagon of Jatin-Lalit, Vishal-Shekhar, Nadeem-Shravan are the debutants Imraan-Vikram.
The duo can’t withhold raving about Ram Gopal Verma, who gave them an opportunity to lend music to his forthcoming film, Agyaat. “We feel extremely proud to have worked with the legend RGV in the very debut film of ours. We can’t forget the encouraging words of RGV when he listened to our composition “Kiss You Day and Night’,” says Imran.
On asking more about the song Kiss You Day and Night and overall music of the film, the duo excitedly exclaim, “Kiss You Day and Night is one of the most innovatively churned out songs, and falls in the category of newly invented genres of romantic item number.” They go on to add, “The music is the USP of the film, because it gels very well with the storyline.
” Interestingly, Imraan has a connection with the epitome of beauty, the talented actress late Madhubala. He is her nephew! Imraan-Vikram have done enough homework by assisting the music-director Pritam in numerous films like Dhoom 2, Jab We Met, Chocolate and Love Aaj Kal. And now, they are all set to begin their own innings.

Salman Khan’s 10 Ka Dum gets an extension

Salman Khan’s 10 Ka Dum has truly turned out to be more popular in its second season. It is a never before achieved feat by any big Bollywood star till date on Indian television, and for this, the show has been aptly gifted with a special extension.
It is learnt that Salman has been told to shoot for 13 more episodes, which will be divided across 13 more weeks, naturally. Sony Entertainment Television has got a new resuscitation of sorts with this reality game show, with their other shows flagging in popularity. They were surprised to see huge demand and especially for the recently shown non-celebrity episodes.
However, the unanimous opinion by one and all is that- its Salman’s charisma that is winning the hearts of the participants and the audiences alike.
One can recall, Salman reduced his fee for the second season of the show, taking into consideration the ongoing recession period, but despite that he seems to be giving value for money to the makers and his fans.

Priyamani waiting to dub her films in her own voice

She lost Kerala state government best actress award for “Tirakatha” because she didn’t dub it in her own voice. Southern actress Priyamani doesn’t regret it, but at the same time she is keen to dub in her own voice.
The prestigious award eluded her because the jury refused to consider her as she hadn’t dubbed for the film herself and eventually the trophy went to Priyanka.

“I have been craving to dub in my own voice in my films, but it is up to the director to use my voice. I know I could not dub for ‘Tirakatha’ because I was little busy and the film unit was not able to wait for me to finish the dubbing work. And I don’t feel sorry for missing the award also because if I was destined to get the award, I would have got it even otherwise,” Priyamani said.

“I don’t act in films to get awards. I never expected that I would be getting a National Award for my Tamil film ‘Paruthiveeran’. I think, it is all part of destiny and I would accept these minor setbacks as occupational hazards in my career,” Priyamani told IANS.

Priyamani, who is now shooting for her Telugu film in Hyderabad, says she has not dubbed for any Telugu films so far.

“I have not dubbed even for my first Kannada film ‘Raam’ where I am working with Puneet Raj Kumar. Many directors feel that my voice doesn’t suit the characters that I have been playing. But many top Hindi actresses like Rani Mukerji are dubbing in their own voices despite having a screechy voice like me,” she said.

“It is now up to the film directors to use my voice or not. I cannot force them to use my voice because ultimately it is the director or producer’s discretion to use voices that suit the characters,” said Priyamani.

“Raam” producer Audithya Babu says Priyamani speaks in Kannada perfectly, but they could not use her voice because of the needs of the character.

“Priyamani has a base voice. And director Maadesh felt that a better voice could be used… Priyamani plays the role of a naughty, prankster born to a rich family who falls in love with a fun loving commoner. We did not want a hard voice for that character. We spoke to Priyamani and she was convinced with our argument,” said Audithya Babu.

Today love is more physical- Rishi Kapoor

The favourite lover boy of Bollywood fans for over decades, Rishi Kapoor will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. Here is a brief tête-à-tête with the veteran star.
You still possess the same energy and passion for cinema like that of your younger days and have not changed.
(Laughs) No, No, I have put on a lot of weight now, there comes by few roles that you pick and chose, I enjoy working even today and I am still passionate about cinema. Unfortunately, very few roles are written for actors our age. One can’t keep repeating the father and brother roles. You have to choose and pick the best amongst the lot. The character has to be an intrinsic part of the plot. But technically, films have become more superior.
What is your opinion of heroes who are in their 40’s and still dominating the screen?
I think I was the only actor who worked beyond his 40’s as a hero. I worked with the youngest lot of heroines like Juhi Chawla and Divya Bharati in Deewane. No hero has beaten me to it.
What do you feel about cinema today?
The days of silver jubilees, golden jubilees, and even diamond jubilees of films are no longer there. I feel proud that I stood the chance of having those jubilees and trophies to my name. Today it is the era of the multiplexes. Only the initial days are counted.
Tell us about your role in Love Aaj Kal. You are making a comeback with your wife?
I play the character of Veer Singh Panesar along with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. Neetu has just given one obliging shot in the movie. You have all got it wrong. She is not doing a full-fledged role. We are actually making a comeback with another film titled Do Dooni Char being directed by Habib Faizal. I am playing a school teacher and she plays my wife in the movie. Love Aaj Kal is film about what people perceive of love today. It’s is a film about relationships. I perceive Saif as the younger Rishi Kapoor in the movie as I take him through the journey of my love story.”
Can you tell in two lines what Do Dooni Char is all about?
The film is very close to my heart. We play a Punjabi couple in the film. I play a math teacher who is trying to make ends meet by teaching in a school, and giving tuitions by the night.
What is your perception of love?
Love during our times was pure. We used to woo girls over a cup of coffee. Our commitments were serious. Today love is more physical. It’s too big an ambit to talk about. How was it working with Saif and Deepika? Saif is a wonderful boy, a wonderful producer. He has done a brilliant job. So has Deepika. She is a competent actress. The film belongs to both of them.

Rituparno’s film to be screened at Durban film festival

Bengali film-maker Rituparno Ghosh’s new celluloid venture, “Shob Charitro Kalponik” (All Characters Imaginary), has been selected for the 30th Durban Film Festival 2009, in South Africa. It will be the first ever premier for a Bengali film in the African continent.
The film - produced by Indian conglomerate Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG)’s flagship media arm Reliance Big Entertainment Ltd (RBEL) - will be screened in the Panorama Section of the festival, alongside films by directors such as Woody Allen, the Dardenne Brothers, Steven Soderbergh, Michael Winterbottom and many other foreign film-makers.

“Our efforts to broaden international horizons for Bengali films are beginning to be successful. Rituparno’s work has also been widely acclaimed globally,” BIG Pictures chief operating officer (COO) Mahesh Ramanathan said here Monday.

He said the BIG Pictures, RBEL’s motion pictures brand, had secured selection for 10 of its world cinema titles in over 12 prestigious international festivals in the last six months.

Written and directed by Ghosh himself, “Shob Charitro Kalponik” is a story of death and loss with many emotional and romantic moments staring Bipasha Basu, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupa, Pauli Dam and Sohag Sen.

The Bengali film is scheduled to be screened July 30 in the festival.

“Shob Charitro Kalponik” is the story of Radhika’s (Bipasha Basu) journey into the life of her late poet husband Indraneel (Prosenjit Chatterjee) and the revelations and contradictions she learns about Indraneel as a poet and husband.

Dream Girl Hema Dreams of Little Girls

Yesteryear’s most desirable actress Hema Malini recently expressed a desire to perform a Ballet with the child artiste Drishti. The child has charmed our dream girl with her natkhat stints in the serial ‘Jai Shree Krishna’.

Hema is known to keep her personal life under wraps, but she could not help sharing Esha’s childhood memories with media after meeting Drishti. “When I was carrying Esha I was gifted a picture of lord Krishna that exactly resembled her (pointing at Drishti). Esha was born same like her; at times I also use to dress her up like Krishna with mukut and all. Her activities reminds me of little Esha,” Hema goes back to the time of her first motherhood experience.

Hema Malini admits that she tries to catch up with the show whenever she has time. As the interaction progressed she also divulged Esha’s fondness for Drishti, “I am sure Esha will definitely put me through the mill for not taking her along here to meet Drishti. She has always wanted me to bring Drishti home,” conveys Hema.

She was taking pleasure in watching Drishti’s activity and was apparently on and off in the memories of Esha’s childhood.

Udita back with a bang, signs on five films

She debuted opposite John Abraham in a film written by Mahesh Bhatt but failed to live up to expectations after that. Model-turned-actress Udita Goswami is now set to make a comeback and has five films lined up — two opposite Akshay Kumar, two with Sunny Deol and then a supernatural thriller.

“My time is coming, you see,” Udita told IANS. “Just imagine, from one film in a year, I am rolling as many as five. It’s good to be occupied and be doing some nice work,” she said.

Udita is looking forward to the two films with Sunny Deol as they enable her to do something different from her earlier work.

“Yes, I’m working in ‘Fox’ and ‘The Man’, both of which are action films with Sunny Deol in the lead. Both films give me a chance to do something that I haven’t done before,” she said.

Apart from these two films, she will also be seen in “Chase” and “Hello India” — both opposite Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.

Udita had a good beginning in 2004 with “Paap”, which was directed by Pooja Bhatt. But the film didn’t do as well as expected. And since then she has featured in a few movies like “Zeher”, “Aksar”, “Aggar” and “Kisse Pyaar Karoon”. So why did she sign on such few films after “Paap”?

“Well, I had a certain thought process around signing only those films that had me in a central role. But this didn’t quite work because how many women-centric films are actually made today? Guess I had to have a change in mindset and thankfully now I have revisited my priorities. Yes, I have become flexible in my choice of roles but am still particular about the banners I sign and people I work with,” the actress explained.

She is now attempting a different genre with her latest film “Rokk” — a supernatural thriller that is set to go on floors by August.

” ‘Rokk’ will be extremely different from anything that I have done so far. It was important that I work on diverse genres. After giving myself a break to ponder over what I really wanted to do, I decided to work on ‘Rokk’,” said Udita.

“Rokk” is about two sisters and former Miss India Tanushree Dutta plays Udita’s sister. According to Udita, the film has no heroes and the narrative is primarily character-driven.

“The film is directed by this new guy called Rajesh Ranshinge,” she said. “He is new to films but has been making some good supernatural thrillers for years on television. He has seen it and done it all in TV serials like ‘Shh…Koi Hai’, ‘Aahat’ and ‘CID’. He is a great guy…someone who is very clear and focussed,” Udita added.

Shah Rukh buys 20 mn pounds apartment in London

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly bought a 20 million pounds apartment in a posh area of London.
The actor, who was recently awarded a doctorate by the University of Bedfordshire for his contribution to Indian cinema, is a regular visitor to the city and spends a good amount of time there with his family.

He had been hunting for a house for a long time and has finally zeroed in on an apartment in the Park Lane area of central London, reports theasiannews.co.uk.

Shah Rukh, who is right now busy with the shooting of “My Name Is Khan”, sealed the deal on his recent trip, said reports.

He also owns properties in the UAE.

'Agyaat' smoking scene cut for TV: Ram Gopal Varma

Ram Gopal Varma says he has cut out a smoking scene from a song in his upcoming Agyaat for television after the censor board objected to it. The filmmaker also stressed the movie is a thriller and not a horror flick as people are perceiving it to be from the promos.

"We have altered the song because the censor board thinks it is not viable for audiences of TV, which is a mass medium, though the big screen version might carry it in accordance with the certification of the film. The DVD version will however carry the scene without any doubt," Varma told in Mumbai.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had asked the director to re-edit the music track Jai Shri Shambhu as it encourages substance abuse. The track shows leading lady Priyanka Kothari puffing a 'chillum' (pipe) while she sings "Dum Maro, yeh hai Sahara".

This is not the first time Varma has been associated with controversies.

He first sparked one when he visited the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, one of the sites of the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai, with then Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and his actor son Riteish. Protesters thought he was collecting material for a film on the tragedy — something the director has denied.

He was again in the news when the censor board refused to clear another of his forthcoming films Rann unless he removed a song Jana gana mana rann — a take-off on the national anthem, which he refused to remove.

Asked if the controversies were coincidental or a publicity gimmick, Varma said: "I take a subject matter which is very hard hitting and obviously many people have problems with that and raise their voice against it.

"I just do my job and shoot whatever I think is right for the film and they do theirs in pointing out whatever they think is not right for the masses."

Coming back to Agyaat, Varma said its promos might be spooky, but it does not belong to the horror genre.

"People are perceiving that Agyaat is a horror film. I would like to make a point here that it's not a scary film. It's an adventure thriller," he clarified.

Produced by Varma and Ronnie Screwvala, Agyaat is about a film unit on a shoot in a dense forest and then crew members start getting killed one by one under mysterious circumstances by an invisible creature.

"Hollywood has made thousands of such films about people stuck somewhere and getting killed under unknown reasons. I thought what if this time people don't see what is killing them...the idea was to compel them to use their own imagination as a weapon, which is more lethal," the filmmaker said.

Releasing on August 7, Agyaat has an ensemble cast and includes Telugu actor Nitin Reddy.

The promos of the film suggest stark resemblances to Arnold Schwarzenegger-starrer sci-fi action horror Predator, which showed a special task force being hunted down by an extra-terrestrial life form in the jungles of Central America.

Asked if inspration for Agyaat came from the 1987 movie, Varma said: "It's not only from Predator but also from other such films like The Blair Witch Project,Anaconda, Alien and The Thing. In fact what sets Agyaat apart is that you don't see what's killing you, which makes it even more adventurous."

Shot mostly in the Sigiriya jungles of Sri Lanka and the Athirapally forests in Kerala, the film's location was crucial for Varma, considering the invisibility of the creature.

"As the basic point was not to show the creature at all, the location had to make up for most of it. And among all the jungles I've been to in my life, Sigiriya is the most scary of them all where the bulk of the film is shot.

"My excitement was also to shoot a jungle, as it has been never done before, which I achieved with the background score, special effects and camera movements," he explained.

Varma's future projects include Rakta Charitra and a three-dimensional film.

Bollywood flick to project Shillong as rock capital of country

This music-loving city is all set to make its big Bollywood debut, with music of course being the theme of a mainstream Hindi film which is being shot exclusively here.

Shillong has been rocking to rock music for years and rock groups which abound here are entertaining fans all over the country. Even foreign rock groups make it a point to inclUde this picturesque city in their India concert tour, the Scorpions and Firehouse being the instances.

The film titled A Major with veteran actor Tinu Anand in the lead will deal with the vigorous rock music culture of the city and deliver the status ob the rock capital of the country.

The film, which is being filmed by Symbiosys Movies Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, with Samir Khan in the director's chair is being shot entirely in Shillong and its adjoining areas. It is set for an October release.

On selectaon of Shillong as the location of the narrative, director Khan said, "The film is exploring all possible ways to portray Shillong as the rock music capital of India and its rich natural beauty."

He is confident that the film will boost the tourism industry in Meghalaya as it will showcase its scenic beauty to all film lovers across the coujtry.

Without divulging the main storyline of the film, the director said, "The film is all about music, passion and 'abhimaan'.

Funny Men at War- Anupam Hits and Ignores Boman!

It’s very well said that “Old is gold’. Somehow, our Anupam uncle does not seem to approve of this phrase. Well, every opinion comes with an observation. And if we go by the observation of our reliable sources from the sets of Perfect Mismatch, Mr. Kher seems to have found a good company in newcomer Anubhav Anand, despite Boman Irani’s presence on the sets.
The film has been shot in 27 days during Diwali time. And, according to sources despite the tight schedule, Anupam and Anubhav managed to take some time out for gambling, but strangely left another cast member Boman out of the game. So we ask Anupam uncle why such a royal ignore to Boman, that too on Diwali!
Considering Anupam rather enjoyed and also requested several retakes of the shot where he gets to hit Boman, this latest news of Anupam’s bonding with Anubhav, definitely points out that something is wrong between the funny men. Bollywood Fail Jackie tries Luck in Bhojpuri

Jackie Shroff may have failed to make it big in Hindi cinema, but he is not leaving any stone unturned to revamp his career, by moving up, ahem up north we mean to- Bhojpuri films! The actor is turning producer and is planning to head ahead if things work out.
Our source informs, “Jackie is very thrilled about producing a film in Bhojpuri and has already got his lead hero. Well there are no two guesses on the lead, as it’s the most popular star Ravi Kishan, who will star in Jackie’s Bhojpuri venture.”
“The story line has been decided, but still the project will take bit long to go ahead with the shoot. For now Jackie has only finalized on his lead actor and he will be taking his own time to finalize the other star cast,” adds the source.
So let’s see Jackie ka tadka as a producer in regional films. Hope he gets success as a Bhojpuri producer at least.

Netaji move-over Kareena will sizzle Khaki

For Kareena Kapoor playing a female politician for Sudhir Mishra’s Dhruv won’t be the same as Katrina playing the politician in Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti where the director has dressed her up in severe cotton and khadi to look the part.
But Sudhir feels the khadi-dressed politician is obsolete and also unwarranted. “That stereotypical look goes against the young dynamic honest and incorruptible image of the new Indian politician. Kareena in Dhruv will be dressed how you’d expect a beautiful and glamorous people’s representative to be. Look at today’s young smart politicians. They wear what they’re comfortable in.”
Apparently the three generations of Gandhi women Indira, Sonia and Priyanka are being taken into sartorial consideration to model Kareena’s natty neta’s look.
Says Sudhir, “If you remember Kareena’s printed-sari look for Chameli was a craze. I feel Kareena’s politician’s look will also be a craze.”
Reacting to Pritish Nandy’s great sense of betrayal over the apparent translocation of the Devdas script from Pritish Nandy Communications to Excel Films Sudhir says, “All I’ll say is, Mr Nandy is like my elder brother. And if my brother is angry with me I apologize.”
Sudhir has offered to make another film for PNC is lieu of the Devdas project. “We’re yet to work out the details. But the offer is unconditional. Any time he wants me to I’ll make a film for him.”

Hollywood make-up artist makes Aishwarya look old

From a glam girl to historical character — Bollywood screen diva Aishwarya Rai has played a variety of roles. Now for “Action Replay” she will don the look of an old woman and director Vipul Shah says he hired a Hollywood make-up artist to get the right make up on her face.
If certain media reports are to be believed, Aishwarya threw tantrums about getting her make-up done by someone other than her own make-up man, but Shah says otherwise.

“Ash did her old age make up with Paul, a Hollywood make-up artist. When we did it the first time, it didn’t work out well. When you are doing age make-up, you can’t correct it so it had to be removed fully and done again,” said Shah in a statement.

The filmmaker, who has made movies like “Waqt - The Race Against Time” and “Singh Is Kinng”, says the actress shot the scenes patiently.

“It took us six hours to got her look right. We started shooting at three in the morning and the shooting went on till 7 a.m.,” he said.

“Action Replay” also stars Akshay Kumar. The story progresses backwards in time.

Firangi heroine hopes to be Konkona’s best-friend!

Actor Suzanne Bernert is “offered’ to play the role of close friend of young Konkona, in Aparna Sen’s forthcoming film with her daughter Konkona Sengupta. German actress Suzanne, who has done plenty of television in India and knows Hindi language, very well, is really excited about this offer.
“I come from theatre background, so for me acting is a very serious business. Aparna Sen is an institution in her-self; working under her guidance will definitely be a great learning experience. I hope that I will get this role. Am looking forward to a positive response from their end,” gushes Suzanne.
Suzanne, is still living in the glory of Lavani dance in the much talked about Marathi film galllit gondhal dillit mujra. Although German, she had wowed us with her desi dancing.
“In fact I had done a live performance on Lavani at Andheri Sports Club in front of thousands of spectators. I think my training as a ballet dancer came very handy,” she signs off with a laugh.

As we have seen in golden heydays of Hindi Cinema; the hero fights with a lion and saves the girl to pataofy her, which is then followed by their love track and a happily ever-after. It seems now, that era is revisiting us, as the directors are busy packing old wine in a new bottle to impress the audiences.
Well we are talking about the upcoming flick of Salman Khan- Veer, which has been in talks for reasons more than one. The recent buzz is that Sallu will be fighting with a lion in the film! Good Lord save the Lion, where is PETA? Sallu is an animal near animals! ”
After fighting with an elephant in the movie, Salman is now all geared up for a fight sequence with a lion, where he saves his girl (Miss UK Universe, Lisa Lazarus) in the ghana jungle,” adds the source. Sallu Miya, we wonder wassup with all those animals, is Veer a Hindi version of Tarzan or what?
Anyhow, the shooting of the same will take place in a wild forest, abroad. “Sallu is well prepared to go ahead with the shoot. He is not at all nervous about it and has been getting the knowledge of how to tackle Lions. The precautionary measures are well taken care of by the team,” adds the sources. What about the precautionary measures for the Lion?
Looks like Sallu Miya’s animal magnetism scared off all the men, so now poor animals have to fight him off; perfect situation of war between beauty and the beast.

Perfect Mismatch narrates the tale of an architect Aman (Anubhav Anand) who falls in love with Neha (Nandana). But things begin to turn for the worse as his orthodox uncle (Boman) who has brought him up meets Neha’s dad (Kher). Their first meeting itself sets the tone for the things lying ahead. Now it is up to the two lovers to find a way out to bring both the warring families together. What crazy mix up it all leads to and what pleasant changes it brings about in all the characters involved forms the rest of the plot.
This Indo-American venture doesn’t have a bad plot but just that it doesn’t have anything spectacularly different to offer. The film has its share of genuinely funny moments that one can enjoy with the full family unlike few recent so called romantic comedies. However, the film is held together by the performances of Boman and Kher as one keeps looking out for their next encounter together. Debutante director Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad’s doesn’t impress with his narrative style and his lack of technical finesse shows. Music by Josh has nothing much to cheer about.
Boman Irani and Anupam Kher were last pitted against each other in the extremely loveable Khosla Ka Ghosla three years back and they have a wonderful chemistry between them continuing with this film as well. Debutante Anubhav Anand is likeable and delivers in his maiden act. Nandana is just about passable though. The rest mix of Indian and American actors is just about average.
The show I went to watch for at a suburban Mumbai multiplex for reviewing this film in the morning didn’t take place because of lack of audience and I had to run to another multiplex for a noon show. Now do I need to say anything more about the film?

Aamir confess Wife made him Dhobi

Coming straight from the horse’s mouth Finally Aamir Khan has come to light, and talks err, blogs about doing his wife Kiran Rao’s film- Dhobi Ghat. Initially there was just the talk around the town about his presence in the flick, with him furiously refusing to even comment on the same. But now the cat is out from the bag
“I am playing one of the leads in Kiran’s film Dhobi Ghat. The reason we kept this under wraps is that she didn’t want to attract much attention towards her film,” Aamir states in his blog.
“She wanted to make this film on real locations, with a tiny crew in very guerrilla style. So we had to do it very quietly. And for once, we managed to keep a secret from the media, at least until we finished the shoot. Actually I think I spoke about it in an interview right after we finished the shoot, so I’m surprised people are reacting now,” he adds.
Alongside he is very excited about his upcoming film 3 Idiots, but he promises to stay away from smoke till the release. “‘m getting butterflies in my stomach already. But this time I will NOT smoke. No matter how nervous I get…”
