Zeenat Aman finds Bollywood ka Brad Pitt!

Now there are a few things that will send a young actor to the seventh heaven. And one of them is being complimented by none other than the glam icon Zeenat Aman herself. So, who was the lucky one? Yuvraaj, the new prince charming of Bollywood, who is being launched in Sanjay Sharma’s Dunno Y… Na Jaane Kyun as Zeenie’s son and Rituparna Sengupta’s husband. While shooting for the film, Yuvraaj went to Zeenat’s van to call her for a shot. Zeenat was getting her make-up done and when she saw Yuvraaj, she was quite thrilled and surprised. She had really nice words to say to Yuvraaj, “Oh my God, you are looking like the younger version of Brad Pitt… so handsome and fresh!” That just made Yuvraaj’s day and he couldn’t stop smiling all day. Next thing, he was seen telling the whole unit about the compliment! Not surprising; as if getting a compliment from someone as gorgeous as Zeenat is not enough, he was compared to Brad Pitt himself!

Well, Yuvraaj seems to have scored in the looks department, but that’s not where his panache ends. The young guy is quite a dancer as well. He has a BA in Kathak from Lucknow and knows various other dance forms like Latin American. And because of that he has been the main celebrity dancer in the prestigious Mrs. India contest and other leading publishing houses’ shows. He is not new to facing the camera, as he has done commercials. And now he will be seen with biggies like Zeenat Aman, Helen, and Rituparna Sengupta. The English film also stars Hazel and Kapil Sharma.

Zeenat Aman all praises for Nikita

Ask any pretty lady and she’ll tell you that it is not so much about getting compliments, as much as it is about who one gets complimented by. In this case, Nikita Anand has struck gold, with no less a diva than Zeenat Aman herself complimenting Anand on her looks.

According to Zeenat, who stars alongside the newbie in Nileish Malhotra’s “Monopoly’, Nikita looks ravishing without make-up. In fact, Zeenat, who is an iconic beauty herself, says that she now sees a different side of Nikita when she performs, having seen her natural beauty. Zeenat has even vowed that if she ever makes a film, she shall cast Nikita and give her a no-makeup look.

Nikita, of course, is thrilled by the diva’s appreciation. The two have much in common, both having been former beauty queens who stepped into movies. What’s more! It seems, the two also share an appetite for a super-healthy lifestyle. Says Nikita, “Zeenatji told me that she identifies a lot with my diet and my lifestyle. I’m a confessed health freak, and I don’t miss a single day of gym and my workouts. I feel uneasy if I ever have to skip it. It’s a part of my day-to-day activity and I totally worship my body. Now, to learn that Zeenatji was also like this in her heydays as the industry’s leading diva, makes me feel like I’m on the right path with my regimen.”

After 38 years, Zeenat Aman, Kabir Bedi pair up again

Yesteryears glamour queen Zeenat Aman and the debonair Kabir Bedi will be seen together on the big screen after a gap of 38 years in Sanjay Sharma’s “Dunno Y… Naa Jane Kyun”.
The two were last seen in the 1971 movie “Hulchul”, which was directed by O.P. Ralhan.

In “Dunno Y…” Zeenat plays a woman who supports her entire family single-handedly after her husband, played by Kabir, deserts her.

According to a source from the unit, Kabir instantly liked the role, especially since it had an emotional side to it.

To be shot in Mumbai and Goa, the film also stars Bollywood’s former dancing queen Helen.

Zeenat Aman ready to steal hearts again with Chura liya!

Remember Zeenat Aman’s super glam look in the song Chura liya from Yaadon Ki Barat? It was a look that she immortalized. So much so that it’s being relived now, and by none other than Zeenie herself! And hey, it’s not just the look but also the strumming of the guitar that is being revisited in the film Dunno Y…. Naa Jaane Kyon directed by Sanjay Sharma, which is her comeback project. Just that in that film she was being pursued and in this one she plays a glam mom. Well, the idea to give her a glam mum look was actor Kapil Sharma’s, who has also written the screenplay for the film. So, Kapil paid a lot of attention to her styling apart from stylist Rehan Shah and photographer Vicky Idnani. That’s not all, Zeenat had to embark on a stringent exercise regime to lose weight for the contemporary and glam role. And, the actress was only apprehensive about it because she has never played the role of a glam mum before.

It’s not just a glam role but Zeenat plays a woman of substance, as she plays the woman who supports her entire family single handedly after her husband in the film estranges her. The movie is also all set to bring back the glory of family drama genre that has been popularized by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chaterjee. To be shot in Mumbai and Goa, the film will also star another yesteryear glam doll Helen, Rituparna Sengupta, Yuvraj, Hazel, Asha Sachdev and Maradona Rebello. This one is sure going to be family feast!
